Longview, March 9th, 2018— Hospitality Health ER Longview is both honored and humbled to be the 2018 recipient of the Small Business of the Year Award by the Chamber of Commerce. Every year, the Chamber selects an honoree for this award based on specific criteria: growth through innovation and financial responsibility and corporate citizenship exhibited through contributions to the Longview community.
Since 2015, Hospitality Health ER has achieved its mission, growing into a pillar for positive health and living in Longview. When the decision was made to open Hospitality Health ER in Longview, the Shipp family was determined to make an impact beyond the walls of the emergency room. This meant taking initiative to strengthen the community and its health using different avenues and lifestyle topics that would resonate with Longview residents. This included everything from a steady release of Medical Minute videos and parenting blogs to supporting meaningful community events and causes, like Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the annual AMBUCS Christmas Parade in Longview.
Jill Shipp, Co-Owner of Hospitality Health ER Longview, commented on receiving the 2018 Small Business of the Year Award, “We have our Longview community to thank for this award, because it is the people around us who inspire us every day to serve wholeheartedly and do more than just the status quo in emergency care services.”
Hospitality Health ER Longview would also like to extend our congratulations to our fellow businesses in Longview, Perfect Catering, for the Minority Owned Business of the Year, and Ben Maines A/C for the Family-Owned Business of the Year.
